Disdik Introduces Simpel Program Socialization among Students

The money will go to each other's account

The Jakarta Education Agency (Disdik) along with the environmentalists intensifies the socialization of the Student Savings (Simpel) program to students in the capital.

Jakarta Education Agency Acting Head Syaefuloh Hidayat said it is a waste saving program. In its implementation, the waste that has been thrown away is used as student savings for using public transportation.

"The money will go to each other's account. Students also get a combo card to ride Jak Lingko for free," he expressed, at Jakarta Council Building, Tuesday (10/29).

His side has distributed 6,000 cards of Jak Lingko to students. In 2020, the cards will again be distributed with PT Transjakarta.

"We encourage them to help in reducing air pollution," he stated.
